LENT
“And so, it begins. After Christ’s baptism, the Holy Spirit took him into the desert. Jesus made the waters holy, and he would also make the desert holy. Both places provide opportunities for Jesus to show us who he is and therefore who we are called to be.
He invites us to go to the place of poverty and surrender where we can remember our baptismal gift of identity. We, too, are beloved sons, and we share a Father in Heaven who sees, hears, and loves us at every moment. This identity unlocks the deepest truths of our lives. Remember this.” - Fr. Innocent Montgomery, CFR

As our parish and broader community continue to re-open, Knights at OLG remain commimitted to being a part of this, but remember, the Knights never went away. Throughout the pandemic we've never missed a monthly meeting, conducting them online when necessary; we collected and distributed food and food cards, we delivered parish bulletins to the homebound, assisted pregnancy centers and Mothers in need, held events such as our FREE Ice Cream Social honoring families and Drive Through Santa Breakfast. We still conduct our annual scholarship program and Palm Cross Sales and much much more. None of which could be done without parishioner support.
Visit "kofc.org/join us" and mention Council 13228 as your council of choice.
Let Blessed Fr. McGivney inspire you to help us respond to the needs of today. Don't hesitate to help us to make a difference!

The need for restocking local foodbanks is ongoing. Our neighbors and families are in need now more than ever.
It's disappointing to enter a grocery store and find items you're looking fo missing from shelves, not knowing when they'll restock, or find you don't have the resources to pay for it.
It's more than disappointing to open your kitchen cabinet looking for food to prepare for your family and it's not there,... and you have no idea when you will be able to restock.
Help us fight Food Insecurity,... be as generous as you're able. Every little bit helps!
Drive Through Food Collections take place monthly at Our Lady of Grace on scheduled Saturdays between 10 am and 12:00 pm.
Our next scheduled Food Collection is Saturday, April 6, 2024
Your safety is also our concern, so you are asked to stay in your vehicle at all times. Prior to arrival place food donations in your trunk or back seat so it may be removed without getting out of your vehicle.
Cash and/or grocery gift cards are also welcome. All money collected goes directly to those facing food insecurity at Our Lady of Grace.
Contact Tony Salerno with any questions at 203.615.1932. God bless and Thank You in advance for your generosity.
